THE WORLD SKILLS WEEK


The Trainees of FRONTLINE UDAAN celebrated “THE WORLD YOUTH SKILLS WEEK from 11/7/16 to 15/7/16. 

The whole week was scheduled with so many skill based activities and competitions to nurture the skills in the young minds. The complete program was to make them to realize the power of youth and importance of SKILLS.

The “WORLD YOUTH SKILLS WEEK” celebration started on 11/7/16 with the competition called “ART ATTACK” a group competition for COLLAGE MAKING on the specific themes of various projects of the government like SWACHH BHARATH, BETI BACHAO BETI PADAO, DIGITAL  INDIA, MAKE IN INDIA etc.  There were 12 teams who had made collages on the given topics. The prepared collages were uploaded on the blog for online voting. The collage with highest votes/ likes got the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes. There was JUDGES CHOICE ROUND also for the prizes, where the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes were announced by judges’ choices.

The Second competition was “MERA BHARAT MERI AWAZ” a video clip competition where trainees had to shoot their own videos for two minutes on any of the above mentioned topics and the same had to be sent  to our  IT personnel. The sent videos were uploaded on “FRONTLINE UDAAN BLOG” and depending on the likes the video got, the 1st,2nd and 3rd prizes were announced.
The Third competition was “BRAIN GAMES” a QUIZ competition was conducted on 13/7/16. Seven teams were participated out of which 4 teams were shortlisted for the final round which was held on 15/7/16 “THE WORLD YOUTH SKILL DAY CELEBRATION”.

The fourth day on 14/7/16 was the “SKILL TEST DRIVE” a live PLACEMENT ACTIVITY conducted by “FRANCHISEE INDIA” company. 30 trainees of different batches were participated and 5 trainees got selected for the same company. It was a great moment to cherish.

On 15/7/16, it was a DREAM DAY celebration. After the hectic, enjoyable and colorful  4 days, the trainees of FRONTLINE UDAAN were preparing to celebrate the big event, that is “THE WORLD YOUTH SKILL DAY”.

The event started at 10.30 by welcoming the crowd to witness the “POWER of YOUTH”. The well come speech was delivered by Mrs. Priya Vishwanath, Training and Placement Lead, Frontline Udaan. The presentation on the topic “IMPORTANCE OF SKILLS AND SKILL EDUCATION” was presented by Dr. Akansha Jain, Co founder of EFOS SKILL ACADEMY.

 “IMPROMPTU” – The Extempore was organized to pour light on the views of our trainees about various topics. The prescribed time was 2 minutes for each topic. The trainees  made us very proud by utilizing the given 120 seconds very efficiently and came up with wonderful presentation.

The final round of “BRAIN GAME” quiz competition was held at 11.30 to 12.30 pm. There were four teams participated in the final round, they are “ALL STARS, INVADERS, CHALLENGERS and ACHIEVERS”. The quiz contest was designed and organized by Mr. Ashwani  accompanied by Mrs, Rashmi Prasad, Mobilization Lead, Frontline Udaan. From 12.30 pm to 1.00 pm there was an overview presentation of all the art works and clips.

In the afternoon “THE AD MAD SHOW” an advertisement game was designed and organized by Mr. Ashish Ahuja, , EP INFOWAYS. Four teams were participated in the same and came out with very innovative advertisements within the given time. The complete show came out so well organised and innovative. Special credit goes to Mr. Ashish for his creativity and well execution . By 4.00 pm the prizes to winners were distributed by the delegates who had represented FRONTLINE company. After 4.30 pm  “FRONTLINE HUNGAMA” cultural program was organized by our trainees. Totally the whole week was packed with innovation, creativity and enthusiasm.
